Our Complete Certification Process

Why is regular DPF maintenance and inspection important?
The DPF can be permanently damaged by engine failure which causes excessive oil to be passed into the exhaust system. This can be caused by many things such as turbo failure, oil seals, gaskets, and internal engine failure. Also, a diesel engine which burns too much oil or fuel for any reason can cause a DPF failure. A failed DPF can be evaluated and a final determination can be made once the DPF has been removed and sent to be inspected and the cleaning process has been performed.
If the DPF does not pass the inspection and cleaning process, it is then considered to be "failed” and in need of replacement. The “Re-gen Process” is the only cleaning process, which is performed in the vehicle, as an ongoing automated maintenance process. This process does not cause any wear or damage to the exhaust system components.
When the "Re-gen Cleaning Process” is complete, the DPF and related components are ready for placement back in-service. When the automated "Re-gen Cycle” fails to remove the soot and ash from the exhaust system, an on-dash sensor light will be displayed, then it is time to contact your authorized repair facility. The repair facility will inspect and remove, if necessary, the exhaust components and properly clean and service them.
Proper scheduled maintenance will help the vehicle perform at its peak throughout its expected life. Remember, poor maintenance of the exhaust system can result in poor over-the-road mileage and sluggish performance due to decreased horsepower.

ALWAYS CHECK THE DEF, [DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID] LEVEL.

A CLEAN DPF COULD SAVE HUNDREDS IN FUEL EXPENSES!

Introducing the Newest Procedures and Tracking System for your Regenerated and Certified DPF. Now with three independent methods to verify that the clogged and or damaged Exhaust Filter Components that are in the cleaning process are really ready for service! All the Components are visually inspected and baked at high temp for 8 hours. We bench air flowed to check for restricted back pressure and use high intensity UV light inspection to check for cracked internal parts. EGR is pressure tested for coolant leaks, and the DPF is weighed before and after, to measure the amount of soot and ash removal. This 3-Point Inspection and Cleaning system ensures you are getting the BEST DPF cleaning service.

The Exhaust Emission Filter found in the diesel powered trucks and equipment after 2007 must be maintained. The maintenance intervals are found in the service manuals and at the dealer which provides the ongoing vehicle maintenance.
DO NOT RUN OR OPERATE VEHICLE WITH OUT DEF, [DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID].
Any mechanical problem which the diesel engine may experience; which could cause any foreign material or fluid to enter the exhaust system, can cause an exhaust emission filter damage or failure.
Should this occur, an authorized repair station should examine the three components which make up the exhaust filter:
1. The EGR, 2. The DOC, 3. The DPF.
  1. The EGR is, in most cases, water cooled. A damaged EGR could leak coolant into the exhaust air stream, which can damage the DPF.
  2. The DOC. does the preheating during the on board vehicle "Re-gen Cycle”. If this component is dirty, or damaged it could cause a failure of the "Re-gen Cycle”. This could result in a premature DPF Cleaning.
  3. The DPF itself has a limited number of times it can be "Re-gen Cycled” on board the vehicle, before it must be removed to be properly cleaned.
